Entreq Argo Ground Cable

Argo replaced several ground cables from the previous range and it has been a very popular ground cable, the models it replaced were Discover Infinity, Konstantin Infinity, Challenger Infinity and Silver Infinity

In performance terms the Argo comfortably outperforms all of the cables it replaces, it is a Copper based cable which uses a braid with 3 interwoven conductors – tonally it sits closest to what a Challenger was essentially, very natural, organic and rich sounding.

Default cable length = 1.65m

The end of the cable which connects to the ground box is terminated with a hook, at the other end as ever there are several options……

RCA, XLR (male), XLR (female), RJ45, USB (type A), USB (type B) and Spade

Hardwired – This offers the best performance any of the connectors above can be used, but as the name suggest the end is fixed is place, this option is £300.00

Removable Copper 3.5mm Connector – The same termination options are available, but you get the flexibility of being able to change the connector. This option is £300 with 1 connector included, additional connectors are £70 each.

Sonically the hardwired option delivers a small sonic improvement over the 3.5mm connector, plus it costs less so that would always be the option I would choose.
