The Taiko Audio Extreme Network Card launched in March 2023 and is designed to replace both the onboard ethernet connection and the SFP connection (installed into slot 2) on the Extreme SGM Server.

Just like the Extreme USB Card that was launched a couple of years ago this new network card has one thing in mind – Extreme performance by creating a low noise network environment. From 1st of March 2023 all new Extreme SGM Servers come with both Extreme USB and Network Card fitted as standard, but existing Taiko SGM Extreme owners can obviously add this card to their Extreme to take advantage of the performance uplift.

This card is a single connection PCIe expansion card, the optimum place to install it is in slot 2 to replace the existing SFP card.

Power to the card is provided via a split DC cable which comes included, this cables replaces the cable single DC cable that powers the USB cable (the split cable powers both cards).

On this new card this a single SFP+ module slot that can be fitted with either an RJ-45 connector module or a Fibre connector module.
