The Alpha A10 combines patented innovations from Shunyata Research’s critically acclaimed Hydra Triton and Hydra Typhon designs with transformative technologies developed from its heralded medical division products.

The Hydra Alpha A10 features 10 UK sockets, these sockets are divided over 6 zones. Compared to the Denali the Alpha 10 is visually more traditional looking, it can fit in a normal equipment stand or even an enclosed cabinet or cupboard as it generates no heat.

The first 2 sockets are individual zones, so they are effectively protected from noise in their own little bubble of isolation, the other 8 sockets are zoned in 4 groups of 2 sockets, each group being isolated from all of the other sockets.

The Alpha A10 requires a C19 power cable.

Fundamentally all Shunyata power conditioners are all about maximising current delivery and lowering noise.

When a system is connected to an A10 the drop in noise floor is quite obvious, there is an increase in clarity and purity and overall presentation is much cleaner, It simply lets you hear your system perform to the best of its abilities, it sounds like that often used hi-fi cliche, but it is almost like a veil gets lifted from in front of your speakers, it never take long for people to hear the impact it brings and it many cases it as much about what you don’t hear.
