Shunyata Research Venom-X Loudspeaker Cable

Venom X comprises of a power cable, digital cables, analogue interconnects and loudspeaker cables and the whole range was conceived and designed from the ground up by Caelin Gabriel. Shunyata wanted to combine affordability and high performance, great build quality and where appropriate featuring technology normally utilised in their more expensive designs. Using a silver copper alloy for all of the conductors and connectors which are copper plated with platinum.

After lots of testing and lots of listening Venom-X is the result, it offers a range of cables that are really quite something given their price points.

The overall presentation of Venom-X is very clean, transparent and immediate – but as ever with Shunyata the presentation never shouts or forces artificial information at you, strident and aggressive it is not! Bass is deep, taut and well extended.

By default this cable is priced as a 2.0m pair, longer lengths are obviously no issue, for every 25cm you add costs an additional £75.00, so for example a 3.0m pair will cost £2295.00 and a 4m pair will cost £2595 – as you can see the price per metre drops as the length increase.

Termination is included in the price and you can specify either 4mm banana plugs or spades.
