T+A R1000 E Multi Source Receiver

The T+A R1000 E Multi Source Receiver is another one of those Swiss army knife products from our friends in Germany.

If you stream music, simply add a pair of speakers and a network connection and you have a fully functioning high performance system!

Of course for those who have other external sources that they may wish to connect the R1000 E has you covered with plenty of analogue and digital connectivity.

There are 3 pairs of RCA analogue inputs and a phono stage (either MM or MC) can be specified as well, this uses one of the 3 pairs of inputs, this option is £405

In terms of digital connectivity there are 3 RCA digital inputs, 2 optical digital inputs plus a connection USB-B for computers or a Melco etc, plus an antenna for FM and DAB radio. There are also 2 x USB A sockets for playing music stored on a USB stick.

There is both Wi-Fi and an Ethernet socket so connected the R1000E to your network couldn’t be easier. The T+A Music Navigator app will allow you stream Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, Internet Radio and playback music stored on NAS drives or servers via UPnP, it is also Roon Ready.

It also has a built in CD player and has a front mounted headphone socket.

In terms of power the R1000E delivers 115 watts per channel into 8ohms rising to 180 watts per channel as impedance drops to 4 ohms

It weighs in at a very healthy 13 kg, dimensions are 11.5 cm high x 44 cm wide x 37 cm deep

The R1000E is available in all black and all silver, but you can also order it with black side cheeks and a silver case (as shown in the main image), or a black case with silver side cheeks.
