Entreq Max T

Launched in the Autumn of 2023 the Entreq Max T is a brand new ground post, the Max T has been designed to build on the success of the Peak 4 which launched a couple of years ago now.

As with the Peak 4, Everest and K2 the Entreq Max T is designed to replace the wooden nut on the back of any Entreq Ground Box, the standard wooden nut serves not sonic purpose, it is there simply secure the ground cable in place.

Any of these replacement posts serve as an upgrade to the ground box, even an older ground box like a Minimus, Silver Minimus, Tellus or Silver Tellus can be enhanced with the addition of a ground post. Each post uses a different combination of metals and when combined with the mineral mixture in the ground boxes it improves the performance of whatever is connected to that box.

Max T has been designed around some of the technology that Entreq implemented in their range of ground boxes that contain Tungsten, these boxes have been a bit of gamechanger and the release of the Max T simply allows other Entreq users to get a slice of that performance.

K2 is a warmer, more round presentation whereas Everest is has more lively, insightful nature. Peak 4 combined the best elements of K2 and Everest into 1 and has bee nreally popular. Max T builds on that and improves textures, imaging and articulation. It’s not a subtle upgrade and even when used on a lower cost ground box, like a Macro Kit or Silver Minimus Infinity the resulting sound is quite an eye opener.

I’d rather have a Max T on a Silver Minimus as opposed to change the Silver Minimus for an original Olympus Ten for example.
