T+A Symphonia Streaming Amplifier

Over the past couple of years the T+A 200 Series has done remarkably well here at Audio Therapy. It offers a genuine slice of the scintillating performance you get with T+A’s wonderful flagship HV series, but in a much smaller and more affordable package.
Sonically 200 Series is typical T+A, with a performance which is incredibly natural and organic, whilst offering superb dynamics, articulation and resolve.
T+A teased a new product launch earlier this month and those initial images that appeared online hinted at something with a look of the 200 Series about it and I’m pleased to announce the imminent launch of the T+A Symphonia Streaming Integrated Amplifier.

Symphonia takes several elements of the 200 Series and put them into one box, it will no doubt please those who are looking for serious performance but don’t want numerous boxes taking over their room, all your need is a pair of speakers, a network connection and you are good to go.
Symphonia is rated at 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms (doubling to 250 watts as impedance drops to 4 ohms). It is a class D design, heavily modified in house by T+A’s engineers, there is never a shortage of power with T+A amplifiers. The streamer utilises T+A’s latest G3 architecture (as featured in the new MP200, the PSD-3100 HV and MP-3100 HV models) and offers streaming with services from Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer and Amazon, Roon certification will follow, full support for Apple Airplay 2 will be included at launch as well.
Full Bluetooth aptX HD support is also included, as well as streaming Bluetooth as a source from your phone or tablet the Symphonia will also stream to Bluetooth Headphones, there is also a headphone socket on the front for wired cans.
As to be expected connectivity is extensive, there are 2 pairs of RCA inputs, 1 pair is for a turntable (MM or high output MC), there is RCA pre-outs and RCA sub-out. There are optical and RCA digital inputs, 2 USB-C inputs, plus a single HDMI ARC input for connecting a TV.
If you are looking for something that offers exceptional performance and will not take up a lot of space the Symphonia should be right at the top of your audition list. Priced at £7990 my demonstration model should be here at some point in April all being well and I’m looking forward to showing it off.
