Due on demonstration very good we will be receiving a pair of the brand new Avalon PM1.2 loudspeakers.
The PM1.2 are identical to the PM1 in terms of the cabinet and visuals, but the PM1.2 have a new complement of drive units and a new crossover network, this change to the new speaker improves the dynamics and transparency compared to the original PM1, internal cabling has also been upgraded.
Standard finishes remain as Polychrome and Birds Eye Maple and the price has been kept at £21,000, the same as the outgoing PM1, there is burled walnut, quilted cherry and curly maple available for £23,500 and then deep gloss versions available of all finishes, these are £25,000 in Polychrome and Birds Eye Maple and £27,500 in the other 3 finishes.
We have a demo pair of PM1 in Polychrome to move on if anyone is looking for a pair, they have not been advertised for sale yet, as I want to put PM1 and PM1.2 side by side for a blog purposes.
