Bassocontinuo were formed in 2008 in Bergamo, a small city nestling in the foothills of the Alps in northern Italy.
Every product in their range is conceived, designed and manufactured in Italy, all handcrafted using a large number of specialist local suppliers, creating some of the finest audio equipment furniture in the world. When they first launched they initially only supplied the Italian market, but 16 years on Bassocontinuo now export to over 40 countries around the world.
Being Italian the visual design and aesthetic appearence of each model is of critical importance, but their function is also equally vital.
Before a new product line is released Bassocontinuo perform both static tests (to certify load capacities) and dynamic test (to understand a racks ability to absorb vibrations – both the amount of vibration and also their frequencies.
Each test they perform has been certified by the prestigious Politecnico in Milan that studies vibration for the automotive, aeronautical and aerospace industries.
