Bassocontinuo Reference Line

The Reference range was the original series of products they launched, conceived and created entirely in Italy.

It has now evolved into its second generation and in terms of both performance and aesthetics it has evolved over time.

Each reference shelf contains an NFC tag allowing you check the serial number and validity of the product on your phone which is a nice touch. With this second generation Bassocontinuo have increased the thickness of the shelves to 30mm, they have also added dampers to the underside of the shelves which aid in the dissipation of excess energy – which is very helpful from a performance point of view, everything vibrates at some level and if you can remove or at least reduce this level of vibration you will always unlock more performance from your system.

In the Accordeon XL4 2.1 (the most popular rack from this range) there are 4 dampers under each shelf, the base shelf has a load capacity of 110kg and each other shelf is 90kg so there’s not much it can’t accommodate from a weight perspective. The base shelf contains a small spirit bubble to ensure your stand is sitting exactly level.

Each Reference product is available in a choice of 6 different finishes – Nighthawk, Moonstone, Portofino, Stealth, California and Mercurial.
