Revolution X was a visionary project which started in 2020: improve a series of objects that have been a benchmark for almost seven years in the world of premium racks.
The evolution of composite materials technology, the creative genius of Christoph Nussbaumer, a team of experienced technicians and engineers and Bassocontinuo’s long-time experience in the fight against vibration, made it possible to create products that were unthinkable until a few years ago.
After almost two years of research and hard work they proudly announced a new benchmark: Revolution X!
Revolution X represents the very best that Bassocontinuo have been able to create. A totally inert rack over 114 Hz with elevated muffling peaks at 7 Hz. All measured and measurable, all certified by a totally independent analysis laboratory.
CARBON IS CLEARED TO TAKE OFF
Monocoque technology
Back in 2015 Bassocontinuo were the first to introduce on the market a rack in structural carbon: to this day no one was able to imitate it.
In 2022 they launched on the market a product that demolishes and revolutionises completely everything that shocked us at the time. The apparent stiffness of the monocoque frame actually hides a flexible soul which makes AEON X the new benchmark on the market.
Bassocontinuo uses the same monocoque technology of the Formula One safety cells. The structural overlap in the lamination process ensures reduction of peripheral torsion, resistance to static load, low frequency vibration damping. Everything is summed up in a performance never measured before in only 1.7 mm of carbon fibre. It weights next to nothing but it has a load capacity up to 80 kg with the breaking point measured at 350 kg.
There are several finishes options – Aeon X legs can be silver, lead or copper (copper is price on request), shelves can be Racing Black or Le Mans.
Racing Black has an opaque carbon fibre shelf and Le Mans has the outer frame wrapped in Italian leather with intricate red stitching, all hand made/finished.
Aeon Light is a more cost effective option, there is less carbon fibre used in the construction, 70% of the carbon fibre in Aeon Light is actually recycled!
Leg options are silver and lead only and Racing Black is the only choice for the shelves and it’s a great alternative to Aeon-X for those who are more budget conscious or have a smaller system.
