Gold Note

Focused on high performance, offering genuinely superb value for money with an incredibly proud heritage of being ‘made in Italy’ it didn’t take too long listening to a selection of their products to decide Gold Note would be a worthy addition to the portfolio of products I proudly represent here at Audio Therapy.

As I’ve mentioned elsewhere on my site you won’t find any ‘shelf-fillers’ or the latest ‘flavour of the month’ but only products that truly engage and captivate when you listen to them, regardless of their price point. I look for performance that is natural, accurate and effortless and one that will never cause fatigue or the need to ‘take a break’ after a long listening session.

Gold Note are fairly unusual in that they are one of the very few brands that exist in the world today where every chain in the system, from the cartridge to the loudspeaker and every step in between is designed and manufactured by Gold Note themselves, in Italy.

The design of Gold Note is pure Italian elegance, coming from Florence there is obvious inspiration from the Renaissance and their incredible history of art and technology. You can see nods in many of the Gold Note designs to classic Italian architecure such as curves in the staircase in the vestibule of the Laurenziana Library and the Santa Trinita Bridge which you can clearly see in the beautiful Mediterraneo turntable pictured above.
