The Tellus II Infinity has 3 posts on the rear, the 2 outside posts are Silver Minimus Infinity (£600 each when bought separately) and the centre post is an original Olympus Ten (this was £1100 when new) so it offers excellent value for money, even at £2000, never-mind the special offer price.
This ground box has been an incredibly popular unit and it offers excellent value for money, given all of the posts are isolated from one another it is incredibly flexibility and there are lots of options as to how you can best employ one in your system. As ever with Entreq the remit is to improve performance by removing unwanted noise in your system.
Using the 2 outside posts to connect to the negative speaker outputs of an amplifier is very effective and the centre post can be utilised on a pre-amp, DAC, or a router in a streaming based system. I’ve customers using this ground box in all manner of different ways, there really is no right or wrong, I’ve one customer using the centre post on his DAC and the 2 outside posts are used on his Melco and Router and another using 1 post on his amplifier, 1 on his CD player and the 3rd post on his phonostage, the options are almost endless.
