There is not long to go until the Munich High End Show 2019!
The show runs from May 9th to May 12th and we’ll be there for the whole show. The MOC where the show is held is a brilliant venue and Munich is a wonderful city and well worth exploring.
Several of the brands we represent will be exhibiting at the show and we’ll be reporting and posting on some of the exciting things we get to see and hear.
Top of the list for me personally is the unveiling of the Vitus Audio SIA-030 Integrated Amplifier, this has been a long time coming and it should be a real showstopper. With an anticipated price of around £30,000 this won’t be for the faint hearted, but if it follows on from the performance of the RI-100, RI-101 and SIA-025 it will be a a rather special product. I already have 2 demonstrations booked in for this amplifier once it is launched.
Alluxity will also be exhibiting and hopefully they will be showing off their new pre-amp. Last year Alluxity had one of the best sounding rooms in the whole show and I’m sure this year will be no different! Effortlessly simple in comparison to some rooms, but so musical and enjoyable!
Melco are teasing something interesting on social media as well, which will be interesting to find out about, their room will no doubt have on display/demo their full range, including the new models, the N100 and the N10 which were released late in 2018.
VTL, Tellurium Q and Stillpoints are also exhibiting so it wil lbe great to have a catch up with everyone.
It also gives me the opportunity to have a look at some new brands, there may be a substantial addition to my portfolio that might get announced over the duration of the show!
