Entreq MaxMix T2 Kit

The Entreq MaxMix T2 Kit is one of the simplest ways to apply Entreq to a system, it requires no other Entreq products to function and it can be used as an entirely standalone product, of course existing Entreq users can easily add a kit to their system as well.

In simple terms the MaxMix T2 Kit is designed to connect to your loudspeaker terminals, they draw away noise and reduce magnetic field affects and by doing so they improve the performance of the speakers, they lower noise, increase dynamics and clarity and improve the overall flow of the music.

This will hopefully explain in a bit more detail……

• In all cables that carry AC current magnetism is generated, this creates vibrations (Ampere’s law)
• Magnetism, in turn, generates current and vibrations (Faraday’s Law)

Magnetic fields are generated by audio cables when signals pass through them. Speaker cables, in particular, generate strong levels of magnetism.

Because an amplifier often draws significant current, strong magnetic fields are generated here too, the loudspeaker itself is another source of magnetism, combined with high frequency noise and magnetism the amplifier picks up from an already polluted power grid means we have a mixture of  high frequency noise, power grid magnetism and signal magnetism, all amplified by the amplifier and sent to the loudspeaker via the speaker cable, which in turn generates additional magnetic fields and high-frequency byproducts.

All of this returns to the amplifier via the speaker connection’s negative terminal. The amplifier now has to handle a signal with additional high-frequency overtones, which it sends out again and the process keeps repeating.

The more power-hungry the speaker, the higher the current and stronger the magnetic fields generated.

One popular Entreq grounding solution over the past few years to deal with the above is grounding the negative outputs of your power amplifier, it is incredibly effective and by connecting a ground box and ground cables to the amplifiers negative speaker output, we can influence the magnetic fields and drain much of the high-frequency noise coming back from the speaker, preventing it from re-entering the chain.

The MaxMix T2 kit was born out of Entreq’s research into negative output grounding and by connecting these 4 posts to your loudspeaker terminals there is a dramatic reduction in those magnetic affects and noise from around the loudspeakers, and by removing this noise we improve the performance. The mixture of metals contained within the post has the ability to dramatically change and reduce the magnetic effects that exist around the loudspeaker terminals.

Even when used on loudspeakers when no other Entreq is present the MaxMix T2 kit brings about some positive improvements and for those who are already grounding the negative outputs of their amplifier the MaxMix T2 Kit can be thought of as the final piece of the jigsaw, they make an immediate and obvious improvement.

Each kit contains 4 posts, there are 2 Max T and 2 Mix T connectors, a pair of each connect to the loudspeaker terminals, simply loosen the terminal and insert alongside your loudspeaker cable.
