Entreq Olympus Ten T Ground Box

The Entreq range of ground boxes are designed to remove noise and pollutants present in the signal path. By removing these unwanted pollutants we lower the noise floor and subsequently improve the performance of the connected product. This improves dynamics, detail retrieval whilst remaining natural and organic in presentation.

The Olympus Ten T replaces the original Olympus Ten which launched back in 2017. The original Olympus Ten was a popular ground box, although it is the same physical size as the Minimus, Minimus Infinity, Silver Minimus and Silver Minimus Infinity it was a really big step up in performance over all of them.

Entreq have spent time further refining the range and their latest generation of Tungsten based products have really accelerated performance even further ahead.

As ever with Entreq the remit is to improve performance by removing noise present in the signal path, it refines the presentation and makes your system quieter, deeper and really lets you focus on the music, textures and subtle micro detail and nuances really stand out. The soundstage becomes bigger, both in terms of width and importantly depth as well, the sense of 3d and holographics really improves also.

I’ve customers using Olympus Ten T on all manner of components, from integrated amplifiers, DACs, routers and network switches, plus also a pair of them on the negative outputs of an amplifier.

Quite often you find the more complex a product is the greater the improvement in performance is,  take a ‘Swiss army knife’ integrated amplifier like a Gold Note IS-1000 or a Vitus RI-101 mk2, both superb sounding amplifiers at their respective price points, but connect an Olympus Ten Tungsten to a spare input and you really develop what the amplifier is doing and the benefit it delivers can be quite marked.

For those who stream music a ground box on the router or switch is a really good building block for improving system performance.
