Entreq Tellus 3 Tungsten Ground Box
The Tellus 3 Tungsten Ground Box is the successor to the popular Tellus 2 Infinity, like the outgoing model the Tellus 3 is a tri-cell ground box, in that it contains 3 independent ground posts in one box
The centre post is equivalent to the Olympus Ten Tungsten and the top/bottom 2 posts are equivalent to the Silver Minimus Tungsten.
The Entreq Tellus 3 Tungsten Ground Box is a very compact box measuring just 12cm wide, 43cm tall and 31cm deep. It has been designed to stand to the side of an equipment rack and not take up any precious shelf space, which is proving popular for those where space is at a bit of a premium. The Tellus 3 is compact enough so it could even be hidden from view behind a rack and I can imagine a number of scenarios where this would prove useful. It compact size takes many by surprise when they see a Tellus 3 in the flesh.
Entreq’s tri-cell boxes always offer great flexibility over how you use them in a system – 2 posts on the negative speaker outputs of an amplifier has been been popular as they are so effective with the 3rd post going on a DAC, streamer, or preamp for example.
As ever with Entreq the remit of the Tellus 3 is to improve performance by removing noise, interference and pollution present in the signal path – making the sound more natural and organic with greater refinement, improved detail and better musicality. Noise is present in every element of a system, you obviously can’t hear this noise, but you when you remove it the level of improvement you can gain can be quite profound.
Since its launch in November 2024 I’ve supplied a fair few of these and everyone has been delighted with the improvement it has brought to their systems. Ground cables are not included with this box, they are start at £120 each, read more on the ground cables here.
