Shunyata Research Venom V6

The Venom V6 is the newest power conditioner from Shunyata Research, it sits under the Delta D6 and it replaces the popular UK, it has been designed to sit within an equipment stand as opposed to sitting on the floor like the UK6

It offers 6 sockets, all of which share 1 zone.

Importantly, when you look around the back of the Venom V6 you will see there is a dedicated ground terminal – perfect to integrate with a Shunyata Altaira Grounding Hub.

The V6 is a superb product for the price of admission, given its price point compared to things like the Everest or the Typhon its remit is to improve the performance of more modestly priced systems and it works incredibly well. I had my demo unit connected to a Gold Note IS-1000 Deluxe and a Melco S100 mk2 Network Switch and the impact it makes compared to connecting directly to wall sockets is audible within seconds of music being played. You gain clarity, resolution, the bass improves as well, but importantly the presentation doesn’t get strangled or compressed as you often find with many power conditioners – this is one aspect which you never get with Shunyata power conditioners.
