T+A A200 Power Amplifier

The T+A A200 is the stereo power amplifier from their 200 Series

As with all of the 200 series components the A200 is housed in a compact 3/4 width box and is visually more compact in the flesh than most people expect it to be.

Build quality is superb, solid, stylish and functional with attractive heatsinks running down the side cheeks. In performance terms the A200 is superb, very clean, open and transparent, it delivers 125 watts per channel into 8 ohms, and it doubles to 250 watts with a 4 ohm load, plenty of power, current and grip to drive your speakers properly!

It offers adjustable damping factor selectable off a front panel button (or off a remote if used in the context of a complete 200 Series system), this allows you adjust the amplifier to suit speakers, you can make the amplifier sound more rounded and warmer if the need arises.

T+A have implemented some of their unique technology they designed for their flagship HV Series in this amplifier stage of the A200, resulting in a frequency response that is perfectly linear all the way to 60kHz and totally independent from the connected loudspeaker, as mentioned above the resultant performance is very clean and transparent and very insightful.

There are 2 sets of loudspeaker outputs and the A200 has both single ended (RCA) and balanced (XLR) inputs.
